RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to reprogram $7,000 from the 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and $739.26 from the 2021 Community Development Block Grant Program for the 2023 Community Development Block Grant Program for the Duluth Property Rehab Program.

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: During the 2023 application process for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, which occurred in the fall of 2022, the amount of requests exceeded the estimated amount the City of Duluth expects to receive. To assist in this demand, city staff reviewed previous projects for funding opportunities. The 2020 Community Action Duluth Seeds of Success project did not use their allocated funds and the 2021 Salvation Army Landlord Incentives Program did not spend down all their allocated funding.
