RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DULUTH AND THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR MAINTENANCE OF SIDEWALK ADJACENT TO TRUNK HIGHWAY 23 FROM 1.35 MILES EAST OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 210 TO TRUNK HIGHWAY 39 WITHIN THE CORPORATE CITY LIMITS UNDER STATE PROJECT NO. 6910-105 (T.H. 23=185), MNDOT CONTRACT NO. 1051989.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an agreement substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A between the city of Duluth and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for maintenance responsibility of sidewalk adjacent to Trunk Highway 23 from 1.35 miles east of Trunk Highway 210 to Trunk Highway 39 within the city limits under State Project 6910-105 (city project No. 2136), at no cost to the city.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the mayor and Cindy Voigt, City Engineer, are authorized to execute the agreement and any amendments to the agreement.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: MnDOT will be constructing roadway and storm sewer improvements adjacent to Trunk Highway 23 from 1.35 miles east of Trunk Highway 210 to Trunk Highway 39. The project will be 100% funded by MnDOT.
