RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A TEMPORARY ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE TO VARIOUS LICENSEES.

CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves issuance of the following temporary liquor licenses, subject to depart-ment-al approvals, with any further restrictions, and further subject to approval of the liquor control commissioner:
Duluth Harbortown Rotary Charitable Foundation (Bike Duluth Festival) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for July 7-9, 2023 at Spirit Mountain Recreation Area;
Lake Superior Zoo (Toast to Tails) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for March 3, 2023 at the Saint Louis County Depot;
Great Lakes Aquarium (Aqua Affair: Electric ‘80s) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for March 25, 2023 at the Great Lakes Aquarium;
Ronald McDonald House Charities (Brew Love North 2023) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for August 10, 2023 at Clyde Iron Works.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The applications for temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses were reviewed by the Duluth police department and were recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their February, 2023 meeting.
