RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH WORK IN PROGRESS LLC, AS AGENT FOR DOMINO’S PIZZA LLC, TO FUND SNOW REMOVAL IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,000.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, with Work In Progress LLC, as agent for Domino’s Pizza LLC, pursuant to which, in exchange for the right to use snow plowing/removal on the City’s streets in its advertising, Work In Progress LLC, on behalf of Domino’s Pizza will pay the City the amount of $25,000, payable to City fund no. 110-500-1920-4654-02 (general, public works and utilities, other reimbursements/refunds).
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this resolution is to authorize an agreement with Work In Progress LLC, as agent for Domino’s Pizza LLC, pursuant to which, in exchange for the right to use snow plowing/removal of the City’s streets in its “Plowing for Pizza Program” advertising, Work In Progress LLC, on behalf of Domino’s Pizza, will pay the City the amount of $25,000.
The City intends to utilize the funds to purchase computer tablets for snow plow equipment which will allow the use of the City’s turn by turn plowing navigation for staff to navigate snow plow routes.
On behalf of Domino’s Pizza, Work In Progress LLC, has created an advertising campaign pursuant to which it provides funds to cities to be used for snow plowing/removal in exchange for the right to use the benefiting City in its advertising campaign including naming it as an “official partner” and committing to use Domino’s-branded materials in visuals for its commercials. In exchange, Work In Progress LLC, will provide the city the sum of $25,000 to be used to for snow plowing/removal between now and April 30, 2024.
