CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with United Systems and Software, Inc. for the purchase of Itron Gen 5 gas and water meters in the amount of $142,832, payable as follows:
$51,375.00 510-500-1940-2410-5227 (water, Public Works and Utilities, customer services, service, utility systems mtc supplies)
$91,455.00 520-500-1940-2410-5227 (gas, Public Works and Utilities, customer services, service, utility systems mtc supplies).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the sole source purchase of Itron Gen 5 gas meter ERT’s and Gen 5 water meter ERT’s from United Systems and Software, Inc. in the amount of $142,832.
United Systems and Software, Inc. is the authorized supplier of Itron Gas and Water Products, which are the meters compatible with the City’s gas and water system infrastructure.
