RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ASSIGNMENT OF TWO CONTRACTS TO THE DULUTH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

RESOLVED, that contingent on approval by the City of Duluth of the assignment described herein, the proper DEDA officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement substantially in the form of attached Exhibit A between the City of Duluth, Merge LLC, and DEDA, assigning all the City of Duluth’s rights and responsibilities under City Contract No. 24450 to DEDA; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, that contingent on approval by the City of Duluth of the assignment described herein, the proper DEDA officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement substantially in the form of attached Exhibit B between the City of Duluth, Center City Housing Corp., and DEDA, assigning all the City of Duluth’s rights and responsibilities under City Contract No. 24544 to DEDA.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to transfer existing ARPA contracts with Merge LLC and Center City Housing from the City of Duluth to DEDA. Transferring the contracts to DEDA ensures that the City will be able to fully report the City’s ARPA funds as spent by 12/31/24.
