RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION OF SENIOR APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR, AND SPECIFYING CONTRACT BENEFITS FOR SAME.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proposed specifications for the new civil service classification of senior applications administrator (attached as Exhibit A), which were approved by the civil service board on November 28, 2023, are approved. This classification shall be subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall be Range 140, pay rate of $82,526 to $97,520 per year.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The new classification of senior applications administrator has been created as a result of a job audit. The senior applications administrator will be responsible for leading the evaluation, selection, project management, design, installation, configuration, implementation, training and support of enterprise and critical level technology application solutions to achieve high level business objectives throughout the City of Duluth’s organization. The pay range negotiated for the classification is Range 140, pay rate of $82,526 to $97,520 per year.
