CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to amend the agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for engineering services to include additional design services, survey and layout, and construction administration and inspection services for the 2024 street preservation project, and to increase the amount by $619,880.53 for a new total of $989,622.23, payable from 440-038-5530, SIP2024-2090 (street improvement program, special assessment contracts, improvements other than buildings; 2024 street improvement projects, 2024 street preservation).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract L30885 with MSA Professional Services, Inc. by an estimated amount of $619,880.53. This amendment is necessary due to additional design work, and adding additional work scope phases to the contract, including construction survey and layout, construction administration, and construction inspection services. Budgeted city street sales tax funds will be used for this project.
