Dear Duluth City Councilors,

I would like to express support of liquor sales in Lakeside. 

I live in the Brighton Gardens area of Lester Park/Lakeside (past highway 61 on East Superior Street). I 
would love to see liquor sales in restaurants and even a small bottle shop in Lakeside. The way the law is 
now if I want to purchase liquor I must travel at least five miles from my home. I am in full support of 
changing this law, I’d love to see some business growth in our neighborhood, and I also feel this fits the 
model of a walkable community.
