Discussion regarding a collaborative Juneteenth celebration requested by
the Unity Fund for organizations that received Juneteenth funding last year.
• Partner orgs: FFC, FRT, St. Marks AME, Health Equity Northland, NYS
Inc, and NAACP
• Inviting: African Heritage Commission, Divine Konnections, Black-owned
businesses
• Request: AHC to join the planning committee and partner on the event
• Possible role: Liaison with the City for event needs (permits, street
closures, etc.)
• Discussion and determination of commission participation and next steps
