CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with JMF Construction, Inc., for the Hillside Culvert Repairs Phase 2 in the amount of $599,861.26, payable from Fund 535-500-1905-5533 (Stormwater, Public Works and Utilities, Capital (incl deprec/debt svc), capital improvements revenue, utility projects budgeted City Project 2217.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the award of a contract for the Hillside Culvert Repairs Phase 2 to JMF Construction, Inc., in the amount of $599,861.26. The project will be paid for with Storm Fund 535. JMF Construction, Inc, was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate for the project was $966,559. Payable from Fund 535-500-1905-5533 (Stormwater, Public Works and Utilities, Capital (incl deprec/debt svc), capital improvements revenue, utility projects budgeted City Project 2217.
