CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that on December 8, 2025, the city of Duluth City Council approved the 2026 Fee Schedule via 25-08883R.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the 2026 fee schedule is amended to reduce the Shoreland Permit Review Fee from $500.00 to $100.00.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends the 2026 Fee Schedule to reduce the Shoreland Permit Fee from $500.00 to $100.00. Staff recommend reducing the previously approved permit fee. A fee of $100 better aligns with the actual cost of administering the shoreland permit program, and it is fair, reasonable, and proportionate to the cost of the service.
