RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE CHESTER BOWL IMPROVEMENT CLUB FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF THE THOM STORM CHALET AND OUTDOOR RECREATION CENTER AT CHESTER PARK.

 

Body

CITY PROPOSAL:

WHEREAS, resolution 25-0789R authorized proper City officials to enter into a Development Agreement with the Chester Bowl Improvement Club (CBIC) for reconstruction of the Thom Storm Chalet and Outdoor Recreation Center (Center);

 

WHEREAS, CBIC anticipates in-kind materials donations that may be transferred to the City with no restrictions;

 

WHEREAS, CBIC anticipates the transfer of grant funding to the City that will be subject to federal grant conditions, which the City shall incorporate into any appropriate project construction contracts;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are authorized to accept and execute the First Amendment to the Development Agreement with the Chester Bowl Improvement Club, substantially in the form of Exhibit A.

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are authorized to accept unrestricted in-kind donations from CBIC pursuant to the terms of the Development Agreement with the Chester Bowl Improvement Club, as amended.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the First Amendment to the Development Agreement with the Chester Bowl Improvement Club (City contract No. C25002) to allow for unrestricted in-kind donations to be transferred from CBIC to the City and to account for federal grant conditions to be incorporated into project construction contracts. This amendment does not change funding amounts.
