CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proposed specifications for the new civil service classification of digital forensic analyst (attached as Exhibit B), which were approved by the civil service board on December 2, 2025, are approved. This classification shall be subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall be Range 35, pay rate of $81,313 to $99,688 per year.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The new classification of digital forensic analyst has been created to analyze electronic and digital evidence to identify potential criminal activity. The pay range negotiated for the classification is Range 35, pay rate of $81,313 to $99,688 per year.
