CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that contract L31095 with LHB, Inc., be amended to include additional services per the attached change order, including regulated sediment excavation oversight, for the Retrofit of the Palm Street Stormwater Pond, and to increase the amount by an estimated $13,587.00 for a new total of $415,909.78 payable from Stormwater Utility Fund 535-500-1905-5533, city project no. 2208.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract L31095 with LHB, Inc., by $13,587.00. This amendment is necessary due to the presence of regulated sediment excavation oversight. The proposed services will be paid by hourly rate, not to exceed increase. These services are eligible for matching grant fund requirements of the grant awarded from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for Stormwater Resiliency Improvements. Due to the consultant’s familiarity with the project, and current staff availability, the city requested the services of LHB as our consultant engineer.
