RESOLVED, by the Duluth Economic Development Authority ("DEDA") that DEDA affirms its support of the City of Duluth’s Downtown Development Strategy, and the initiatives and actions identified within the attached Exhibit A.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this Resolution is to provide the Duluth Economic Development Authority’s (“DEDA”) formal support of the City of Duluth’s Downtown Development Strategy. This document (Exhibit A) brings together all recent planning efforts and studies related to the downtown district, and identifies four main goals: Build Housing; Focus Investment on Priority Areas, Increase and Connect Open Spaces; and Activate. This document will help the City and DEDA clearly advance the work needed to create a thriving downtown.
