CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a master utility agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for relocating existing and constructing new water utilities as necessary during the construction of State Project Number 6981-26, the Trunk Highway 535 Blatnik Bridge replacement, at no cost to the city, and for purposes of cooperating with the contractor to coordinate all water utilities as necessary for the project.
Statement of Purpose:
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes City Officials to enter into master utility agreement No. 1061299 with MnDOT for cooperation and coordination of water utility relocation or new construction related to State Project Number 6981-26 on Trunk Highway 535 and the Blatnik Bridge replacement project. MnDOT has preliminary identified no water utility assets in need of relocation, and any water utility work necessitated by the project will be constructed by the State contract for State Project Number 6981-26 with city approval.
