CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with MJ Companies, LLC., for the 2026 Norton Road Site 1 Culvert Replacement Project - in the amount of $224,212.00, payable out of the Storm Fund 535, Department 500, Division 1930, Object 5533. Util City Project 2309.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize city officials to enter into a contract for the 2026 Norton Road Site 1 Culvert Replacement Project scheduled for construction in 2026 with MJ Companies, LLC., in the amount of $224,212. MJ Companies, LLC., was the lowest responsible bidder of the eight companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $312,895.00. The working fund of this project is 530-500-1905-5533, UtilB-2309 - Utility Projects Budgeted, 2026 Norton Road Site 1 Culvert Replacement , Util City Project no. 2309
