Friends Report June 2026

The Friends of the Library held their annual meeting on May 19.
• Members of the sorting crew and a few library staff members joined Friends Board members for the meeting.
• Staff shared some examples of library programs made possible by donations from the Friends.
• Over the last fiscal year, the Friends donated a total of $37,000 to DPL.
• The Board voted to approve a new Board member, Jane Hovland.
• A new slate of officers was approved:
o Theresa O’Gara and Betty Ramsland, Co-presidents
o Jeremy Anderberg, Vice President
o Milissa Brooks-Ojibway, Secretary
o Marcia Semerau, Treasurer and Book Sale Chair
