CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to execute the first amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, to the Lease and Management Agreement (City contract No. 23932) with One Roof Community Housing, for the continued operation and use of a portion of the Central Hillside Community Center through December 31, 2026.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the First Amendment to the Lease and Management Agreement (City contract No. 23932) with One Roof Community Housing for the continued operation and use of a portion of the Central Hillside Community Center.
The previous 3-year lease expired at the end of 2025. To help facilitate One Roof’s desire to purchase their own building, the City agreed to a 1-year extension at no monthly rental cost. One roof will vacate the building on or before December 31, 2026.
