CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorizing a State Contract purchase of two (2) radio control stations and sixty (60) radios from Motorola Solutions, State Contract 40071, in the amount of $179,096.50, payable from Capital Equipment 250; Public Administration 015; Fiscal Year 2016; 2016-Capital Equipment 5580; Project: CE250-E1604 - Capital Equipment Fund 250, Radio System VHF/ARMER Replacement.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the City to purchase two radio control stations and 60 radios for use in the City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities, and Public Administration departments from Motorola Solutions, in the amount of $179,096.50.
This purchase will receive a reimbursement in the amount of $83,218.67 from the grant acceptance of Resolution 16-0518R, through the Northeast Minnesota Regional Radio Board.
This purchase is based on Minnesota State Contract 40071, Release R-651(5).
