CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to amend agreement L30203 with Toole Design Group, LLC, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, to include final design services in the amount of $43,294 for the temporary relocation of the Cross City Trail for a total amount not to exceed $68,720, with $40,000 payable from fund 205-130-1220-5319 (Parks Fund; Community Resources; Parks Capital; Other Professional Services) and $28,720 payable from fund 411-035-5530; Project PI2019-1596 (Permanent Improvement, Capital Project Accounts, Improvements other than Buildings; Cross City Temporary Bike Trail city project No.1596).

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to agreement L30203 with Toole Design Group, LLC to include final design services for the temporary relocation of the Cross City Trail for a total amount not to exceed $68,720.

The original agreement was awarded after the purchasing division issued a Request for Proposals on April 12, 2019. Three proposals were received and evaluated by city staff. The proposal submitted by Toole Design Group received the highest score.

MnDOT plans to construct the Twin Ports Interchange (TPI), and a part of that work will necessitate the removal of a portion of the existing Cross City Trail during 2020-2023.
