CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to provide concurrence to St. Louis County to enter into a contract with Ulland Brothers, Inc., for reconstruction and intersection improvement to 40th Avenue W from Grand Avenue to below the railroad tracks, with a city share in the amount of $2,502,524.32, payable from appropriate funding sources, city project no. 0847 and no. 1813.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes concurrence to St. Louis County to enter into a contract with Ulland Brothers, Inc., for the reconstruction and intersection improvements to 40th Avenue W from Grand Avenue to the railroad crossing just north of West 9th Street, with a city share in the amount of $2,502,524.32. Ulland Brothers, Inc., was the lowest responsible bidder out of the 4 companies that responded. Payable from Water Fund, reimbursement from Public Facilities Authority (PFA) for Lead Service Replacements, Street Improvement Sales Tax funds, and Storm funds, city project no. 0847 and no. 1813.
